    ### Review of White Caulk Tape Waterproof Self-Adhesive Strip**Rating: 4.1 out of 5 stars**As a seasoned DIY enthusiast and a go-to source for practical home improvement solutions, I recently put the White Caulk Tape Waterproof Self-Adhesive Strip to the test. This product promises an easy and effective way to seal gaps and prevent water leakage in various areas of the home. Here’s my balanced review based on firsthand experience.**Pros:**1. **Ease of Use**: The self-adhesive design of this caulk tape makes it extremely user-friendly. It’s straightforward to apply, requiring no special tools or caulking guns. This makes it ideal for quick fixes around sinks, bathtubs, and windows.2. **Waterproof and Mold-Resistant**: Engineered to resist water and mold buildup, this tape lives up to its claims of providing a durable seal in wet areas. Its waterproof capabilities are especially valuable in bathrooms and kitchens where moisture is prevalent.3. **Flexibility and Aesthetics**: The tape is quite flexible, which allows it to conform to corners and curves effectively. The white color is clean and neutral, blending well with most decor styles, which enhances the aesthetic appeal of any space without being obtrusive.4. **Cost-Effective**: Offering a good amount of tape per roll at a reasonable price, this product is an economical option for those looking to avoid the cost of more extensive repairs or professional caulking services.**Cons:**1. **Adhesive Strength**: While the tape is easy to apply, the adhesive strength can be somewhat lacking, especially in areas with high humidity or direct water contact. It may require additional reinforcement over time or in heavy-use areas to maintain its effectiveness.2. **Durability Concerns**: Some users might find that the tape does not last as long as traditional caulking. Regular exposure to water and environmental factors can lead to peeling and the need for reapplication sooner than expected.**Conclusion:**The White Caulk Tape Waterproof Self-Adhesive Strip is a practical solution for those seeking a quick and easy way to address leaks and gaps around the house. Its user-friendly application and effectiveness in dry to mildly wet conditions make it suitable for DIY novices and those looking for an immediate fix. However, for areas subjected to constant moisture or for those seeking a long-term solution, considering additional waterproofing measures might be beneficial. This product is best used for minor repairs and temporary fixes, offering good value and convenience.

This looks cleaner and neater than traditional caulk not sure water resistance but easy to use. It’s thicker than plain tape, I had to get two packages as there wasn’t enough to go in front of two fiberglass tubs and three toilets without it. So not much on a roll. It sticks okay time will tell if it stays in place. I like the strips as they look neater and cleaner they are flexible around base of toilet. I just feel having option to buy one bigger roll would be better than only having enough if you buy multiple. Value is okay I don’t think it would be as strong as regular caulk but I have shakey hands and it looks awful when I try to caulk anything it’s a huge mess. This is a good thing for people who don’t have steady hands or patience

I purchased this product to use around my toilet. I noticed that the originally caulking on my toilet had faded and I wanted something that would make the area appear more polished and finished. The process to apply is really straight forward and when it says do not get the area wet for 24 hours, it really means don’t wet the area. My bathtub is really close to the toilet, so I believe some of the water from the shower door got onto the area where I applied at the front of it. The positive however, even with it lifting, it’s super tacky so the caulking was easy to reapply simply by pressing it back onto the surface of the toilet. I rated it four stars because I do believe it is a solid product but wish it was more tacky to prevent that from happening all together. I would recommend this product for sure the area has to be clean and dry.

We had some thick, unsightly, yellowing caulk in our bathroom around the toilet and this caulk tape looks SO much better! It was very easy to install (just make sure you remove all existing caulk or it won’t stick!) and looks so uniform.

TOUSEA White Caulk Tape: Looks Good, But Adhesion IssuesTOUSEA White Caulk Tape looks promising for quick fixes around your bathtub, countertop, or bathroom. However, real-world experience highlights a significant problem with its adhesion.Pros:Clean Look: The wide, white tape can easily cover gaps and imperfections, creating a tidy, uniform appearance.Easy Installation: The peel-and-stick design promises convenient application without the mess of traditional caulk.Budget-Friendly: Compared to re-caulking, this tape provides a very affordable solution for cosmetic updates.Cons:Poor Adhesion: Unfortunately, many users report that the tape does not stick well, often starting to peel off within days or even hours of application. This makes it unsuitable for areas exposed to moisture.Durability Concerns: With its poor adhesion, the tape is unlikely to provide a long-term solution and will likely require frequent replacement.Overall:While the TOUSEA White Caulk Tape offers an appealing quick-fix idea, its lack of proper adhesion makes it a disappointing product. If you need only a temporary cosmetic cover-up for a gap that won’t be exposed to much moisture, it might suffice. However, for any areas requiring a durable solution, especially those prone to moisture, explore other sealing options.Let me know if you’d like recommendations for alternatives!

I just sealed the bathtub and toilet where they meet the floor, and this stuff went on like a dream – and even had a little left over from the one roll of tape. It’s thick, but quite flexible and a bit stretchy, so it conforms well to the curve around the front of the toilet pedestal. In an old house like this, the toilet installer had to shim the pedestal to make it level, leaving six or eight millimeters of gap in the front. This hides the gap beautifully.Working in tight spaces, it wasn’t always easy to get the mid-line crease of this tape to line up with the junction at the floor. I found that if I folded it in half sticky side out before applying it, I got pretty good alignment. Be careful, though – the adhesive is pretty aggressive, and you might not get a second chance at positioning it after it’s made contact.Since the installation is minutes old as I write this, I can’t speak to its longevity. It’s a good bit thicker than duct tape and the glue seems to do its job well, so I’m not much worried about normal cleaning loosen up the tape or rubbing through it. Based on my experience so far, I’ll come back to this whenever I have the same kind of sealing job ahead of me.– wiredweird

Used this around my toilet and bathtub after installing new floors. This stuff looks super professionally done and takes NO time. So happy with the results.A few things to consider:Use a heat gun or hair dryer after you apply it so it will retain the form you laid it in – very necessary for any corners or really anything that isn’t a straight line.Be a bit careful with pulling and stretching as my first run wasn’t a perfectly straight line and it was very noticeable. Will definitely be purchasing again!

Easy to apply. Allows you to make corrections.

I bought this again after using at our old house. Perfect for an uneven floor like our basement had. Just make sure it’s warm before applying so you can flex into the perfect position.
