I like the fact that it rules, easy and that it has the correct slant to sharpen my knives.

The good, it is easy to setup and use and your knives do get very sharp. The bad: The instruction are basic and there is no guidance for the strop or eraser. Also go slow. The angled brick is general purpose. Long knives and come off the block with pressure and very short knives take patience because they will fall below the top edge of the blockYoutube how to use it for better guidance. Also, buy some better quality polishing grit, gray and white for use on the strop. Actually, buy a larger strop, the one that comes with it is very small.FYI – 20 degrees is good for most kitchen knives. It keeps it edge and cuts nicely. 15 degrees is for specialty knives like filet or most Japanese knives. However, it needs more frequent sharpening. This is not mentioned in the pamphlet.

I love this sharpener. I’ve bought so many in the past, and they’ve all just been “ok”.I had seen ads for this rolling type of sharpener for a while, but they’ve always been so expensive. Got mine on prime day finally for only $30 bucks! My problem with other sharpeners is that some of them take off so much material, and they barely sharpen your knife. Others take a long time and a lot of effort. This sharpener, however, took my old (yet expensive) dull knife from old and dull to BRAND NEW in a fraction of the time.My son is getting his first apartment and I’m getting him some very expensive knives (he loves to cook). I’m going to buy one of these kits for him too.Don’t waste your money those other sharpeners that either take tons of practice, or those that will only end up destroying your knives.

For the price it’s a nice sharpener. The magnet block is not very powerful. The strop is cheaply made. I will be replacing it. It is very easy to use and does a decent job as long as the magnet block holds.

First I want to mention the packaging, the box design is not only functional for shipping but classy enough for display. But how it works is the important thing here and I’m here to say it works great on “most knives”. I have a fairly large collection including Henckels and Shun as my favorites. Sharpening the Henckels only required a few minutes to restore a factory sharp edge, the same for Chicago Cutlery, etc.The Shun were a different story, the hardness of the VG10 core steel was just too much for the sharpener.

I saw this as an ad on a YouTube video and thought it might be a gimmick but gave it a try. I’ve been amazed at how effective it is at sharpening my knives. It works best on smaller knives like paring knives but I have used it on my larger knives as well. It takes patience and care but with rolling carefully, I get much sharper knives in only a few minutes. Very happy with the result and I have sharpened all of my knives with it

I believe I found it with this sharpener. I saw the other brand advertised on instagram but didn’t want to commit to the price point. This is the same concept and design and does a fairly decent job. I tried the 20° sharpening and was impressed. Wish the magnets were stronger though. It’s difficult to sharpen smaller blades, the magnets aren’t strong enough to hold the blade while the tumbler is being slid along the blade.

At a fraction of the cost of a similar product, this set does a nice job of sharpening knives I’ve had for years, and never bothered sharpening The leather ( forgot what they call it ) piece could be larger when finishing honing the knives, it’s definitely too small. Overall though the sharpening set is worth taking a look at, especially if you use the product and see the finished results. It’s much safer using a sharpened knife then one that’s dull.

I haven’t used it enough to dislike it and it seems to sharpen my knives
