So like most, I moved from going out to a gym to working out from home over the pandemic. I never went back and don’t miss it. This is the perfect addition to any home gym. I can not get over all the attachments it comes with! It’s sturdy and feels quality. It came in 3-4 boxes. They are labeled (1 of 4 etc.) so even if they are delivered on separate days you know how many you should have. Clear directions. It did take my husband and I a couple hours to put together but no worse than IKEA furniture. I will say the hardest part was the pulley cable system. But if you follow the directions closely is works beautifully. We had an issue (I may have had the cables switched) and one of the covers got warped. The customer service is AMAZING!! They promptly responded to my email, followed up with pictures and sent me new parts free of charge. This was the best customer service I’ve had on Amazon. I’ve done tons of research and my family has been working out for over 25 years in gyms (with weights) so I knew what I wanted. This hits every mark. To think I really only wanted a squat cage! Oh Amazon. Tip: Lay everything out one box at a time and pay close attention to the pulley cables. They are labeled. The cables may look the same but are slightly different lengths. If I had one suggestion to seller it would be to have a bigger picture of the pulley assembly and clearer numbers emphasizing which pulley to use first. This may be a manufacturing issue but would save a lot of confusion for some.If you are looking for a squat cage extraordinaire, look no further. This is the ONE.

This cage seems pretty heavy duty, to my surprise. I have it on a foam mat in my apartment with a limited amount of room. Basically, it sits in a one-bedroom apartment in the dining area. It looks nice and it holds the weights just fine. It is a bonus that I can use it with a standard bar and standard plates. It definitely took me some time to put together because it comes in a lot of pieces, in three separate boxes. I have no problems doing dips or pull-ups on it so it’s pretty stable. Yes you have to have some patience putting it together, and the instructions underneath the pictures help you out significantly because it tells you what bolt goes where. There are several different bolt sizes and to verify the piece/bolt that you need It will explain it underneath the photos. It took me a couple of hours to put together with some profanity because some of it is difficult. When it says don’t tighten the bolts down all the way, tighten them enough to add some stability, yet have some give, not too much. Initially I just hand tighten them all on there and the thing was all over the place. A socket set will do you very well here. When I put the lat pull down attachment together It was pretty stiff. A dash of WD-40 will go a long way here and let it slide with ease. It is a little bigger than I expected because I didn’t expect the lat pulldown section to protrude so much, but it still fits just fine. For an inexpensive cage, this thing looks good and performs just as well as other cages. The price point was good and if you have the patience, it will probably last you a long time after putting it together. The other thing I like about it, is it came from a small business and I am a fan of small businesses. They’re not around as much as they used to be and I try to support them as much as possible. Initially, I only got two of the three boxes and contacted the seller. They responded super fast. They sent me the shipping info for the final box and told me that they would contact FedEx (which I am not a fan of) and tell them to get moving on that third box. As a added bonus for contacting them, they also sent an instructional video you can get on YouTube on how to put it together. Pretty cool right? If you were curious about the Olympic aspect, it does have sleeves that go over the standard plate holders that converts it into an Olympic for holding plates and other parts. The landmine attachment has a sleeve for an Olympic bar or a standard bar which I thought was pretty cool. The Olympic sleeve covers appear to be very hard plastic and are secured by screw. I don’t know how durable they will be because I didn’t utilize them. If you were worried about the weight sliding off, as an added bonus it comes with spring clips to keep the weights from sliding off. Olympic and standard! It actually is a pretty well thought-out design and I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy this for years to come. I don’t ride a whole bunch of positive reviews about things, but due to the nature of the company’s responsiveness and the quality of the product, I have to give this one a review.

Overall, a great bargain for a sturdy well made product! All three boxes arrive without any real issue, in the middle of a snowstorm too! (Thank you FedEx!) They break the parts down perfectly so no one box is overly heavy. Assembly was relatively straight forward. Watch the assembly video to have an idea of what you’re gonna be doing. We didn’t and it made assembly more awkward than it needed to be for me and my kids when we attached the upright posts. You’re gonna want at minimum a ratchet and socket set but ideally bring an impact driver.Note – They’re not as clear about the actual assembled height. Mostly listed here at 80.7″ but only in one spot does it mention it’s actually 82.7″ tall to the top of the pull up bar, so be sure to factor that in if you have low height clearance like me. The room in my basement where this went, the height varies from 82″ – 84″ depending on high or low spots on the floor coinciding with ceiling joist settlement/bowing, factor in about half an inch for the floor mats and I was really tight on clearance and in the end I had to position the cage so the pull up bar sat in between ceiling joists. Which for me wasn’t an issue because I knew I wouldn’t have the height clearance to do pull/chin ups regardless but something to keep in mind if you have height clearance issues like me.If you’re getting the lat pull down attachment be aware that while it only adds about an additional 10 inches to the depth of the cage you need to give it much more clearance than that in order to fit a full 45 lbs plate on the lat pull down plate carrier. The assembly instructions were decent, take your time on the pulley and cable assembly as the instructions are accurate but not obvious. I’ve always been that guy that can just look at assembly instructions briefly and know what to do but I had to slow down for the pulley and cable section. You def need to take a little more time on those couple of pages. It’s not hard, not really complicated either but you just need to take a moment to make sure you understand the path of the cable the pulley layout. Once you digest that, it’s straightforward.Once assembled, it’s pretty sturdy. It’s more than enough for my needs, I paired it with a 300 lbs Olympic weight set from Dick’s which this cage can handle without breaking a sweat. If you’re a big power lifter though your mileage may vary. The lat pull down attachment works really well, I was worried about the action not being smooth or awkward or jank or all of the above but it’s not. We’ll see how it holds up over time. Hopefully Ultra Fuego sells replacement cables/pulleys as the engineer in me always sees moving parts as potential future failure points.Overall, me and my kids couldn’t be happier with this. Will update if anything changes but for now, totally worth it and would recommend and would buy again if needed to!

Pros: Sturdiness; cost; flexibility; attachmentsCons: Instructions; hole spacing/not labeledTips: 16mm ratcheting wrench works for nearly all of the bolts/nuts; use a stencil and mark the levels of the interior holes prior to assembly (I used some Rustoleum spray paint from Lowes called “Oasis Blue,” (do this outdoors since the overspray is awful indoors)).Overall, I’m more than happy with this power cage, should’ve purchased this last year when I first saw it. As others have stated, make sure you have all of the boxes and parts prior to assembly. Upon opening the boxes, most items were individually wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap. The instructions are straight forward until you get to the landmine and the pulleys (grab a beer). The rack assembly is a piece of cake, just use a 16mm ratcheting wrench and you’ll get through this very easily. I used a 1″ titanium unibit to install a couple more hole sets since my arms are short and the 4″ spacing makes the bar too high when I’m doing the bench press (create a template if you decide to do this, your holes have to be perfectly aligned for the attachment to go through it correctly). If you have the lateral attachment, the part that holds the weights should be flush when you’re looking at it from inside the cage. The pulleys are a bit time consuming, so have some patience.***Edit a/o 31 Dec 23**I had to go back and downgrade this to a 4 star. The hole spacing is entirely too wide and most 1″ attachments don’t properly fit (1.16″ stock holes). Additionally, the pulley cables are always twisting and won’t stay straight. Finally, the upper storage arms get in the way when doing bench press (I had to relocate the holes to the top area).

For the record, I bench over 400lbs and squat well over 600.I am writing this review so people can determine if this is safe enough for them. This is not a high end rack but it definitely is a great value for beginners and intermediate lifters.I recommend finding proper sized j-hooks that are higher quality(that is only downside of this rack)I am writing this after assembly and testing.I loaded up a 495lb barbell on the rack while using aftermarket j hooks I purchased separately. And did a set. On the final rep I purposely failed and let the bar fall on the safety pins. Everything held up impressively well.As for the pulley system, I loaded up 185 on the pins(4 plates). And repped it out with the different attachments just to mess around. If you buy the power rack + the pulley system(which I recommend you do) the boxes for the rack and the box for the pulley system will ship with different tracking numbers. They will arrive at different times. This freaked me out at first because I thought I got screwed out of my money. Misunderstanding…..Anyway, assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. Hardware was strong. You might not have such an easy time if you are not inclined with a wrench so get help from someone who is. The only tools of your own that you will need are a 5/8ths Socket or wrench. I used a Socket on an impact gun and that helped me get the rack together in an hour. Pulley system will take another hour. Will take longer if a ratchet or a spanner wrench is used.Things to take note of when assembling:-make sure you do not over Tighten bolts(They are good strength but it’s always possible)-MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY TENSION PULLEYS ON FLOATING ASSEMBALLY(You will immediately break your pulley)^^Not a quality issue, just negligence of buyer-the longer pulley cable goes on top, shorter on bottom.-verify that standing supports are in correct orientation, it is easy to mix them up and you will have a horrible time fixing it when it’s too late. Ask me how I know.-put all pulleys in before cord then when it is time to put the cord in you can take bolts out one at a time(do not fully Tighten until finished)-bolt into the ground if you can-when finished assembling apply wd-40 to all moving parts, pulleys and along both pulley wires. Conclusion:Rack is very strong, good quality and good for Lifters that are not in the 1000lb club yet.Great deal for the money. I am honestly impressed. I was so anxious reading the reviews. If anything changes and I have anything break I will be updating this review. But for now, it is a 5 star for sure from me.

I had been on the fence about building a home gym for a while, and this summer of 2023 I finally decided to take the plunge. To me, the core of any good gym is a high quality power cage, and after much research, this power cage turned out to be it for me for the following reasons:Size: this power cage is compact without sacrificing quality and design. The power cage doesn’t take up a lot of space in my garage, yet it serves me to do pretty much everything I was doing iny former gym.Weight: this power cage is solid. Once it was fully assembled and in its place, it has remained solidly in place with no wobble, and without me having to screw it into the floor. However, I am still able to move it around with a bit of effort when I’m cleaning The area where it is.Durability: the power cage seems solid enough. One thing I did notice when I was assembling the top portion of the power cage is that the metal started bending when I tried putting the screws tight, so I had to make sure to not tighten too much the bars and pieces of metal to keep the steel from bending. However, this has not seemed to affect my workouts.Assembly: this was a pain to assemble. The assembly itself is not that hard, but it does take a while to complete the assembly. It took me several sessions to assemble, but if I were to add up all the time, I would say to be ready to spend 4-6 hours working on this, but to be fair, I was taking my time and enjoying a beer each time I took turn ñs to continue the assembly.Overall I am impressed with the price vs quality ratio. For a power cage that does 90% of what I was doing at my former gym, I can say that my money has been well-spent and has been more of an investment than a purchase. Only time will tell, but as of right now, I have a feeling that this power cage will last for years of regular, nearly every day heavy use.

I was dreading putting this together but it went smoothly even doing it myself! The instructions were easy to understand. It took me a couple hours, having help would have saved a ton of time. The pully system threw me off for a bit but as soon as I did make sense of it I was able to put it together fast. Having my impact would have made tightening bolt faster but a regular ratchet was the only tool I needed aside from Allen wrenchs that were included. The size is perfect for me, I’m 5′ 8″ – I could see where it might be a little compact for a much taller person. It feels sturdy. However, as you can see I only have baby weights on it because I’m still new to lifting and haven’t needed heavier weights yet lol. It comes with quite a few accessories with the lat pull down option. I did really like that the weight holders are for 1″ plates but it also comes with sleeves to use if you’re using 2″ Olympic style plates.I can’t speak for more advanced gym people if this is sturdy enough for heavier weights but this is going to be perfect for me and I am confident it will hold up as I add more weight to my training.I am happy with the customer service. I was missing one part, a clip for a piece that goes with the landmine attachment. I reached out to the company and they answered quickly and are sending a replacement.Overall, I definitely recommend this for a home gym 😊

This rack is everything I will ever be needing in my home gym space!Fairly easy to assemble (you might need a second person to give you a hand) The instructions manual is a bit confusing but with some common sense you so got this!I love the versatility of this rack especially all the additional exercises enabled by the pulley system. It is a great advantage that it comes with so many attachments to use with it that otherwise you would have to purchase separately. Love the handles that fast and easily build a little dip station – another perk of this rack. At first I thought they’d be too far apart, but the distance between them is pretty good to allow for the use by people with different body types.Note: it only comes with a couple carabiners, but that is not a big deal for me. I’ll probably purchase some extra so there is one for each attachment and I don’t have to switch all the time. The quality and value is great for the cost and it is very cute looking with the blue accents, I mean I had to say something about the aesthetics of this baby. Now let me point out this is definitely more of a beginner rack or for women and people who are not planning to compete or go to extreme with their weights. Please check the total max of weight capacity for this rack before you purchase. If you have a good leveled floor/ground great, if you don’t you’ll either have to mount it to the ground or think of some sort of platform or base to keep it leveled. And last but not least, this company really cares about their customers! I had an issue with one of the safety bars and theis responses were amazingly fast and I was sent a replacement part in a day! Outstanding customer service, keep up the fabulous work Ultra Fuego!

I had been gradually building up a small corner of my garage for home workouts. My local gyms are too crowded and I’m forced to spend 90-120 minutes to get in a good workout while I wait for people to hog all the equipment while they stare at their phones.Adjustable dumbbells, adjustable bench, an assortment of plates and a pulley system I picked up on Amazon served me well for about 6 months but adding this cage has given me so many more options. This is a great build. Took a couple hours to put the whole rack together including the cable attachment. Instructions were perfect. I messed up a couple times because I thought I was smarter than the instructions. Follow along step by step and pay attention to the pictures and you can’t go wrong.Very sturdy. I haven’t loaded more than 150 pounds on the cable system but it shows no signs of being weak. I’ve seen complaints about the j-hooks and safety bars but so far they hold up great with at least 250 pounds on them.If there were anything I wish this rack had different would be the ability to adjust the heights of the upper and lower cables but I have gotten creative and make it work. For example I like to use 2 ropes for my tricep pulldowns and I need to do them on my knees to get full extension due to the length of my ropes. I have an assortment of cable extensions I use but the included chain works just fine.Landmine attachment is a plus that it’s included so you don’t have to but one separate. I normally remove the j-hooks and tricep attachments when I’m not using them to keep them out of the way.I’m beyond happy with this purchase and I picked it up during Prime Day for a discount but I’d pay full price if I had to.

Great rack for a great price. The lat pull down cable got messed up during install – completely my fault. I messaged the seller and they mailed me a new one that I received a couple days later.I would definitely recommend this power rack. There is two negatives but at this price point it makes sense.1. The J hooks work but they are a weird size. I plan to upgrade them.2. The holes are too spaced apart. I’m 6’3″ and my squat position is in between two holes – so i have to start my squat lower than i would like.
