For me this thing has been almost perfect. Considering the value and versatility for the money. I didn’t have a ton of space and this thing is pretty damn compact for having a squat and pulley system. The pulley system is pretty smooth, not the best but better than I thought it would be with square tubing. The pulleys do feel heavier than the pulleys I use at the gym. Some exercises I can only do about half what I do at the gym. But that’s just an ego thing really same pumps. Came packaged well with everything in it. Put it together myself in about 3 hours or so. Feels really sturdy. The only real complaint I have is a bit of a design flaw. While the height selectors for the pulleys is smooth and easy to use. The handles stick out so far that you can’t fit the weights all the way down when doing squats ( pictured above) I usually just put a quick release clip on before I put any weight and it ends up giving me about an inch or 2 of clearance on each side. One more gripe is the range of motion on the pulleys could be a bit better. Some movements can’t get a great eccentric stretch. As a side note, after being happy with the squat rack I’ve ended up buying their barbell and their paddle handle rotating grip attachments ( same design as the original prime ones) and love both those too

I had really hesitated to buy a cage on Amazon or online in general, especially at this price point, but after really comparing several cages I chose to go with this one and I’m absolutely not disappointed. Very sturdy, no missing parts, and really good fit and finish. I assembled it myself in about 2 hours, the directions aren’t the most clear but definitely adequate to get the job done. I highly recommend you use an impact to tighten everything down. I swapped the red stanchions to allow the pulley assemblies to be installed with the handles on the inside so there’s no interference with plates on the bar and it worked fine. Hopefully this holds up over time and my enthusiasm over this buy isn’t ruined but from putting it together I really think it’s built to last, highly recommend.

Before I proceed I have to say that they have a great customer service. I’m sure they’re not here in the US but they get back to people in a timely manner.Something that must be clear and kept in mind is that this is for home use therefore you can’t expect to have the stability of the regular gym equipment.Mine is sitting on a 1/2″ rubber mat and it is pretty stable. Another factor is that I’m only 154lbs so it doesn’t shake too much due to my weight.Assembly is pretty simple. With the help of the instructions and a video from YouTube, was an easy task.Quality – I’ll give it a 9 from 1 to 10. The reason why is the paint starts to chip off too soon from the safety bars. Nothing wrong with that because it doesn’t affect the performance of them. Another reason why is a 9, is because the thread of the nuts that are built into the frame where you can store the weight plates, was stripped and couldn’t tighten up the screws. I must say that I contacted the manufacturer and they corrected the issue. Actually, I was very surprised and happy with the way they handled it. I won’t get into details.Performance – I’ll give it a 9. Again, considering this a home power rack, is somewhat narrower than the regular gym equipment, making it feel weird when doing chest exercises like the one where you set the handles all the way to the top. Pull ups are uncomfortable too due to the short length of the bar and the steep angle at the ends. I feel my hands start to slide down due to the steep angle. It’s not the end of the world, at least for me, but if you have a wider frame then it’s going to feel way worse. The same thing happens with the lat pull down bar that comes with it, steep angles and kind of short.I decided to remove the feet attachment to do row exercises. This could be just because I don’t have too much room in the bedroom where I set it up but I did notice that the range of motion is too short. The angle of the attachment pretty much limits you to do the exercises seated on the floor. Cannot do it sitting on the bench. The rollers are pretty smooth and even though they tend to tangle from time to time. It’s just a matter of untangling them and they work fine. I’ve noticed this with the heavy plates, 45’s though.Other than that, I’m happy with the purchase which I’ve had for the past three months. I love cable exercises because of the constant tension on the eccentric part of the movement. I also like it because I was able to do rack pulls again and perform a series of exercises that I couldn’t do before the purchase. One thing to add, when doing rack pulls I use a couple of pcs of plywood to bring my knees to the correct height. This is because of the location of the first holes on the rack.As you can see, you have to play with it and be a little creative, but it is a nice rack. Would definitely recommend it despite the above mentioned. A gym membership these days is around 50 bucks, at least here in NYC so do the math. I hope this review is of any help for those thinking about getting it.Thanks !!!

there’s so much to write about here at the set is fantastic, customer service is very responsive. I did a full on analysis for a few months on multiple different machines. One of the others was the best seller on Amazon. And I was concerned about not going with the Amazon best seller, but I did additional research on materials cost set up and features and landed on this one. And all I have to say is that I am so pleased. My sons love this set and use it all the time. It is not flimsy. It is quality and it’s got numbered adjustments, which is very handy. My husband says it was easy to install , it suits our house very well. Thank you, Mikolo for producing such an awesome set power cage.

Works as it should and is an excellent rack for the price if you are of average strength like myself. I’ve put about 200 pounds on the j-cups, and even without it anchored to the floor it seems to be pretty stable I’m not worried that it’s going to tip on me, but doing any more than that I would at least anchor it. Quality is good cables are a little sticky but for a 1/3 of the price of a high end rack it will work just fine for moderate weight and exactly what I expected it to be. Had a couple of dings and scrapes which was expected, but nothing bad or anything that hinders functionality. I would recommend if not just be mindful of the weight limitations and consider how much weight you will be using on it.

This is a great gym, I like the independent pulley system it opens up a lot of workouts. Having the landline is a plus make sure you protect your floor though scratched mine before I did. The assembly was easy and the system works great. Had to put some lubricant on the pulley track to prevent them from sticking.

Power cage showed up with a hole in a box and a part was damaged. Tried calling Mikolo no one answered tried emailing and live chat finally got a response that a ticket was created but that was days ago and no response since then. Zero help from Mikolo sending back will never purchase their products again.

I bought this to replace a cheaper power rack I got a few years ago. My old one was supposed to be rated for 500 pounds but got real squirrelly when I got more than 350 pounds on it. This one is a world of difference! It’s super heavy duty and solid! Much easier to put together as well! Took me a little over an hour working by myself. Instructions were very clear. I had to reach out to the seller about a little shipping damage and they were super responsive and took care of the issue immediately! I’m super happy with my purchase and have already had a few great workouts on it!

I have really enjoyed using this for my workouts. It is very solid with the amount of weight I have used so far (~200 lbs). The best feature is the dual pulley system, this allows for very efficient work outs as you can have two different pulley stations set up.I have two reasons for not giving it a 5 star rating. 1) The packaging it is shipped in is not great and my unit arrived with multiple scratches on the frame. But Mikolo has great customer service and we worked out a solution very easily. 2). The grips on the attachments have groves which dig into your hand and are uncomfortable when using heavier weights. I’m actually looking to replace the attachments already.

I currently have 260 lbs of bumper weights, and this rack handles them with ease. I’ve intentionally dropped the bar at the end of the safety bars, and it holds up well. There’s a bit of movement, but it’s not a concern for me—especially considering the price. If I ever get more weight and start worrying about stability, I’ll just fasten the rack to the wall, which should solve the problem. There were a few minor damages during shipping, but nothing major. My biggest issue with this system is the square cable row slider. It requires balanced weight on both sides to work properly, which is frustrating for several reasons. If I had known this beforehand, I might have chosen a different rack. That said, it does work well when used as intended.Overall, it’s a great buy, though I’m not a fan of the cable row setup. I’ll get used to it—hopefully.
