These are perfect for inside our tornado shelter. They don’t compromise the integrity of the shelter. Sticks firmly to the sides, inside and outside. No assembly necessary. Able to hold flashlights, headphones and extra batteries. I have plans to organize other essential emergency items. Functional and easy to clean!

These magnets are really strong. The shelves are very handy and useful. The only downside is glass tinkles when I close the refrigerator door, but nothing is damaged. I try to think of it as the tinkling of bells.

I had bought another brand of these that I use for spices in my kitchen. I saw ordered 2 sets of these to put on the doors of shipping containers. I had planned to use the hooks to hang light items I would need upon entry for easy access. Well as you can see from the included picture most of the hooks aren’t even hooks that will reliably hold anything. They look molded like this and not broken so it looks like a quality issue. Also whatever coating they use rubs off on what you stick them to and on your hands so wipe them down good especially if you are planning to use them in your kitchen.

This shelf is really sturdy and the magnet adheres strongly to the refrigerator. I have a small kitchen and spices were in multiple locations. This product allowed me to place them all in one spot and they are now easy to access, view and use as needed.

So I have/had one of those stacked-drawer type of spice racks where the ‘drawers’ slide out and tilt down and you have 3 rows that hold ‘regular’ sized spice bottles. That took up 1 full section of my cupboard space. Then I had another full section taken up by overflow and other sizes that don’t fit……so I saw these and could really use the cupboard space for something else. I got the 6-pack after measuring and can fit the larger ones and smaller ones side by side.first of all, remember that there are 2 sizes. the smaller ones will hold 2 ‘regular’ spice bottles back to back, even a big thing of morton’s salt, but won’t fit the larger containers. those fit fine in the larger ones. side by side they look a little weird but who really cares. If you want them all the same, you’ll have to mix and match or find another brand.the magnets are the ‘plastic’ kind (like the cheap ones businesses hand out for you to stick on your fridge). they completely cover the back of the shelf so lots to stick with. that said – and this is why i docked one star – if you put much pressure on them when, say, trying to put something back into the shelf, they will ‘tip’ forward and down and come off. you will probably have time to make a ‘save’ before it dumps everything, but you might lose a bottle or two. not a big deal but was expecting them to adhere better based on other reviews.there are also some little hooks that clip onto the shelves (1 per shelf, but you can put them wherever you wnat). they are very small, almost too small to hang a dish towel. and of course if you yank the towel it will tend to pull the shelf down and forward causing it to come away from the fridge.once you are aware of this you can avoid doing it and they are fine. or you might want to look at other vendors’ products to see if they have stronger magnets. on the one hand you want to be able to remover or rearrange them; on the other hand you don’t want them falling off. i have some small flat very strong magnets, i might just use one per shelf to see if that’ll keep them solid.i got the black matte finish, the side of my fridge is black, they look decent. and i cleared out two sections of cupboard.** UPDATE ** ok, so I’ve only had these for about a week. and yes *sigh* they are prone to falling off if you put any kind of down/out pressure on them (like when replacing a bottle). just a little bit and that plus the weight of the bottles will cause it to peel right off. and then it takes out the one(s) below it (or if you’re lucky, maybe they just get knocked out of place but don’t completely come off).in one week this happened a couple times. it’s not like i am pressing down hard. it’s just the basic physics of it. there’s not enough ‘magnetic force’ holding the back to the fridge to withstand the downward force on the front. so my solution was to put a little bit of black duct tape (since mine are black and so is the side of the fridge) in the middle of the front side of the back of the rack to the fridge. that way it can’t be pulled forward by any downward pressure and won’t peel off. so far so good. docked another star. should have stronger magnets.my fridge sides are slightly ‘dimpled’ (i don’t know if that’s the right word) – they are not smooth, but have a slight texture.

I was surprised at how strong the magnets are that attach to the fridge. They truly are strong. I was able to put up all of the spices and oils we use to free up counter space. I highly recommend these for space conservation and making things less cluttered in the kitchen. The edges are a bit sharp as are the corners, so if you have kiddos, keep it out of their reach so they do not potentially hurt themselves. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised by these. My roommates and I love them.
