I spent some time looking for the right mats for our garage home gym. Our squat rack is mounted to the wall and the columns did not rise much from the ground, so the tiles needed to be thin but also cushioned enough. These are perfect. They’re super easy to install and the price is incredible. We had to cut some pieces, but it was very simple to do. I would recommend using scissors instead of a utility knife if you need to cut, this’ll give you a cleaner edge. I love the feel of them underneath my feet when jump roping as it’s a softer landing. I can’t recommend these enough.

Pros:Product is ok for the price. It went together well and all pieces fit nicely together.The thickness is right under .5 of an inch.Nice padding for exercise underneath feet.Cons:Diamond plate texture on top is quite slippery for MMA activities. After walking on the mats and entering another room your feet feel very slick and seem to be covered in a film. It did have a slight chemical smell to them. I scrubbed the top of the tiles with a carpet brush and warm soap water. It did seem to get the film off.If you have tile floor you have to, HAVE TO, get an underlay. The pieces will slip like you steped on a bananna peel with out one. So I went to Walmart and bought a rug underlay. It was $19.97 and it worked perfectly to help it from slipping from underneath you.In conclusion,It’s nice padding, so far the pieces seem to be holding together. I’ll update my review after doing more workouts, the joints might need tape. There is a slippery chemical film on the top layer that is slick and will stick to feet. You have to purchase a rug underlay for this product to not slip out from underneath you.One of the images shows how the joints have a layer of glossy film on them and the tile it self no longer does. This is because I cleaned the tiles and not the joints to keep water out of them.

These shipped fast, they look great, they were easy to put together, and they’re nice and soft. I put these in a little home gym and have a decent amount of equipment on top of them, they have not separated, torn, or slipped even once. They work perfectly for my needs.

Installed this into my home gym in my garage. It was super easy to setup, the comfort is amazing, there wasn’t any weird smell. Looks like I’ll need three more and it’ll look even better. But so far, no complains and it fit well.

I started by using this on the concrete floor of the basement laundry room of my old house. At first I did the area in front of the washer and dryer and then I did the entire floor of the small room they are in. I found it easy to cut and piece together. Finally, I moved on to the other small area in the dugout basement. This section was dirt covered in plywood and I wasn’t sure how well the tile would hold together over this surface, but a year later it has held together and still looks great. Old carpet was covering the plywood before, so this is a huge upgrade. I wasn’t sure this would be the right product for what I was doing but took a chance and am 100% satisfied with the outcome: a year later it still looks great, is still locked together well, is easy to clean, and is a comfortable surface to walk on when you are doing the laundry.

Bought these to use on a carpeted area for workouts. Carpet is short and not anything fancy, the mats slipped apart from each other with a few mountain climbers and were very slick on the surface providing very little grip even when using without socks. These would be great for a kids play room, but not as workout mats.

We bought a 12 pack of these for our two cat foster rooms as the floors aren’t comfortable to sit on for an extended period of time. That limits your ability to interact with small kittens and help socialize them.These changed that drastically. The parts fit together well, and the end pieces cover things fairly well. We only had one that we had to modify to fit in each room.With these and a thick blanket things are comfortable enough to stretch out and interact with kittens for an hour or two. You can eve take a nap, though the lighter you are, the comfier that is. My GF is under 100 lbs and she can sleep on it for hours with the cats. I weigh over 250 and can make it maybe 90 minutes before I wake up and need to stretch out the sore spots.Those dozen lasted us two years until a particularly destructive litter set their sights on murdering “the foam beast” and tried to dig through all of the mats in their room.We bought a 36 pack this time since they worked so well. It should allow us to cover a larger area for general comfort, and we know they’ll last.

I didn’t buy these for working out, but to put under my futon mattress to pad the frame. I was a little skeptical at first as they are kinda thin ( true to the ½” as the box says), but they work great, and I’m almost 200 pounds and my futon mattress is pretty worn thin, maybe 3″. So these did great despite the thickness, though I may order a second set just for good measure. The 6 of them fit a full size frame perfectly, minus about 1½ on each side.
