While the pillowcases feel fine when used normally, rubbing the material between my fingers feels somewhat cheap, likely due to the polyester fabric. I gave the product 4 stars because it was decent quality, but the product name is misleading. It’s not actual silk/satin, it’s polyester. The fabric is silky in look and smoothness but there is a huge difference between it and real satin (polyester one seems more stiff and fabric doesn’t breathe well). Overall decent bang for your buck and it’s probably better on your hair than cotton pillowcases, but definitely worth the splurge to get a real satin one.

I move my head around on my pillow a lot while I’m sleeping. It doesn’t help that I have sleep apnea. So I usually wake up with very matted hair which takes a lot of effort to untangle. These satin pillow covers have been a blessing to me. The slippery silk has captured my hair from matting and it’s also good for your face to lay on. Very good quality. Fit my queen pillows just fine.
