Strong. No warping or bending when full. Doesn’t stain or hold orders like plastic. Easy to clean. Clear markings in both metric and imperial (US common) measuring systems. Microwaveable, but be warned they can get extremely hot so do not attempt to pick one up bare handed after its been in the microwave. Pyrex measuring cups (and dishes) can chip, but in my experience it takes a great deal of force at just the right angle. Pyrex is incredibly durable and are often passed down through generations. The measuring lines are not quite so durable. Fading from use and as they age so after 60 or 70 years they can be a little bit harder to read. In short, they are the only product worth more than it’s initial price. Get yourself a set. You’ll be glad you did.

They’re easy to wash (dishwasher), easy to stack so they don’t take up very much room, durable as HECK- I dropped the smallest one from the counter and it bounced a few times without ever chipping. These are the best and easiest to use. I’ve had them a while and they don’t show any wear whatsoever.

I have owned these measuring jugs for a few years now and use the largest 4 cup bowl daily for oatmeal since it is deep enough to microwave without overflowing.These are very sturdy bowls with thick glass that have survived more than a few bumps and knocks without any cracks or chips. They have both imperial and metric measurements printed on them so no need for conversions when following recipes which is very helpful.As you can see from the pictures the 4 cup bowl has started to lose some of the measurements – but this is only after many years and probably hundreds of dishwasher cycles. I imagine that hand washing would have delayed this or prevented it entirely. Regardless still impressed with the quality and can definitely recommend.

I am tending away from plastic cooking items; so when a 4-cup plastic measuring cup developed a big crack in the bottom, I ordered a Pyrex set of s=1, 2, and 3 cup measuring cups. They are wonderful, and can be used in the microwave.
