Works well on hard surfaces. It’s a bit this and moves on carpet. I tried jumping rope with this matt on short carpet and it moves about 6 inches after every 50 jumps or so. I wish the matt was a tad thicker or had a bit more weight to it. It works well on hard surfaces, however, and the carrying case is a nice plus.

Item doesnt work with jump rope, after rope hits it for many times, it may cause part of its surface come up so when the rope hits it bounces up, and

Primarily used as a yoga mat until my coordination improves for use of the weighted jump rope. The weighted rope was the primary purpose but now I’ve increased my 3/4 times a week yoga stretches. It has an odor of plastic fumes so I place a doubled up towel over the area where my face would be and that works well. Nice long length but probably not as wide as a traditional yoga mat. But it’s wide enough for my uses. Believe it would work outdoors as well as indoors. Has a nice carry strap that keeps it rolled up as well as a very nice carrying back with ventilation.
